The UGC Lab is a done-for-you platform that helps brands source high-performing user-generated content for ads and social media. We take care of everything—from matching your brand with the right creators, to handling product delivery, timelines, and quality checks. You get high-converting content without lifting a finger.

➤ Will I have a dedicated point of contact?
Yes. Once you fill out our brand onboarding form, an account manager from The UGC Lab will be assigned to you. They’ll guide you through the process and handle coordination from creator sourcing to content delivery.

➤ Where do you find your content creators?
We’ve built a network of talented creators through extensive industry connections and continuous outreach. Our team scouts creators daily—on social platforms, in creator communities, and beyond—so you don’t have to spend hours looking. We only bring on creators whose work meets our standards.

➤ Are campaigns automatically approved once submitted?
No. Each campaign goes through an internal review to ensure it aligns with our brand values and is safe and appropriate for our creator network. We reserve the right to reject any request that violates our standards or poses a risk to our creators. A refund will be made.

➤ Who owns the content once it’s delivered?
Once the brand purchases the content, full ownership is transferred to the brand.
 

FOR CONTENT CREATORS
➤ Do I need to be an influencer to apply?
Nope! We care more about your creativity than your follower count. If you’re comfortable in front of the camera and love creating videos or taking great photos, we want you on board.
➤ What experience do I need?
No prior experience is required. You’ll also get access to our tips, tutorials, and creator resources to sharpen your content game.
➤ When you ask for "platforms," what does that mean?
We’re referring to both: the platforms you use to create content (like Instagram, YouTube), and any social media you’re active on so we can get a sense of your style. Don’t worry—you’re not required to post the UGC content on your personal account.
➤ Why do you need my contact info?
We use your contact details to send you relevant campaign opportunities that match your profile.

➤ I don’t have a portfolio. Can I still apply?
Yes! If you don’t have past UGC work, you can share a sample video or a short demo instead. This helps us understand your content style. 
➤ Am I accepted immediately after signing up?
Not instantly. A member of our team will review your application and reach out once you’re approved.
➤ How do I find and apply for brand collabs?
We’ll notify you through email
➤ I applied but haven’t heard back yet—what now?
You’re still in our system! We just haven’t found the perfect campaign for you yet. If you want to speed things up, send us a message about the types of projects you’re most excited about.
➤ How do I update my profile info?
Shoot us an email if you need to update your photo, contact info, shipping address, or anything else. The sooner you tell us, the better we can match you to projects.
➤ How do I get paid?
Once your content is delivered and approved, you’ll submit an invoice. Payments are processed twice a month via bank transfer.
➤ How can I make my content stand out?
Focus on the basics:

● Good audio (minimal background noise)
● Natural lighting
● Clear messaging and storytelling
Bonus tip: Don’t follow trends blindly—put your own spin on them and cut out the fluff for better watch time.
➤ Can I apply to any project?
Only to those you qualify for. That’s why filling out your creator profile accurately is important—we’ll only send you opportunities that match your skills and interests.
➤ Am I automatically accepted into campaigns I apply for?
Not necessarily. We review each campaign and hand-pick creators based on specific requirements. It’s not personal—it’s about finding the best fit.
➤ How will I get the product if it’s required?
Once you’re selected, we’ll coordinate the product shipment and send you a detailed brief. You'll also receive tracking info to stay updated.
➤ Where do I send the final content?
Your account manager will send you a shared drive link to upload your files.

FOR BRANDS
➤ What’s included in a content package?
You can choose from a variety of content types—short-form videos for reels, lifestyle photos, product reviews. Not sure what you need? We offer free intro calls to guide you through the best options for your goals.
➤How does the process work from start to finish?
Once you purchase the package that best fits your brand's needs, you’ll receive a brief form via the email you used at checkout. This form will ask about your expectations—like your target audience, desired tone, content guidelines, and any specific instructions. After submitting the brief, you’ll either ship your product to the creator’s address we provide or, in the case of a service/app, share access. You’ll receive your edited UGC within 10–12 business days. We also offer one round of revision to make sure the final content aligns with your vision.
➤ Will content be tailored to my platform?
Yes. We can customize the format for Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, YouTube Shorts, and more—just let us know your preference during onboarding.
➤ Can I choose the content creators?
We typically handle creator selection on your behalf. Our team carefully vets creators based on how well they align with your brand’s tone, audience, and goals. This ensures you get content that resonates—and saves you the hassle of filtering through hundreds of options. Trust us, it’s what we do best.
➤ How does product shipping work?
Once your campaign is confirmed, your account manager will share creator shipping addresses. You just ship the product and send us the tracking number—we’ll handle the rest
